Tools I Use

Leveraging the many tools available to internet marketers is essential for success.  Since I am a one-man operation, I am always looking for ways to streamline my work so that I can become more efficient.

This page is a collection of the things I use to build and market my websites.  Some of them cost money, some are free, but each one has proven itself helpful and reliable in meeting my needs.

Website Production

HostGator Web Hosting
Pricing is cheap, service is outstanding, and the CPanel function makes installing wordpress a breeze.  I haven’t tried any other hosting services…mainly because I haven’t needed to!

XSitePro Website Builder
I am not a programmer, so I lean on XSitePro and wordpress to create my affiliate sites.  This software is perfect for newbies.  It is easy to learn and has built-in SEO and AdSense integration.

GoDaddy Domain Names
GD is well known as the #1 seller of domain names.  Their prices are the lowest and the fact that everyone uses them makes transferring the domains you sell very easy.  Make sure to sign up for their newsletter so you can get emails about special savings offers.

Affiliate Companies

Clickbank
Clickbank focuses primarily on ebook products.  They make it easy for affiliates to sign up and get started promoting merchandise right away.  They offer bi-monthly payouts and good stat tracking options.  Clickbank is my favorite source for affiliate offers.

AzoogleAds
Most marketers promote Azoogle offers through PPC advertising.  This is probably because their offers can expire or be changed at a moments notice.  You will however find some long-term offerings that you can build a website around.  I have had mixed results generating revenue with them…but I don’t get into PPC.  They pay monthly commissions.

Forums

DigitalPoint
I visit DP nearly everyday.  It is a strong community that offers a wealth of information about all of the major affiliate networks.  But beyond using it just for news, the marketplace is good place to look for cheap products ands services.

eWealth
I like to swing by eWealth every few days because of their Clickbank area.  Every once in a while you will learn a new CB trick or find out about problems people are having with the CB site.

The Warrior Forum
This is a very entertaining forum because nearly everyone on it is trying to pimp their own product, but there is plenty to learn if you read between the lines.  Check out the Warrior Special Offers for inexpensive ebooks to help quench your thirst for new techniques.
