Slow Sales in Early October
Coming off of a record month I was looking forward to building upon my success. Unfortunately, the first week of this month has been very uninspiring.
It is always so hard to gauge a decline in sales on your websites. Of course, you should visit your sites regularly and click around some to make sure everything is in order. You can also check your affiliate stats to make sure you are getting an appropriate amount of impressions and click-throughs. I also like to check my referring URL stats to make sure that sites that were giving me traffic are still doing so.
In regards to my slump, I have checked all of these things and there doesn’t appear to be any issues. Perhaps it is just a slow sales period for my main niches. Either way, I will need to get things going if I want to reach my internet marketing goals.
In other news…I did find a replacement affiliate program for my Azoogle offer that was paused. They have a program up at commission-junction that automatically approves new affiliates. While I am happy to fix problem, I would have preferred staying with Azoogle since I was already earning income on another site with them. I don’t know about you, but I find it much simpler to deal with a few select affiliate companies. You don’t have to track as many payments, and you save time by not having to login to several different sites every day.
