My Goals
I am one of those people who believe that setting goals is the best way to map a successful strategy. In this section I have outlined some of the different ones that are related to this website.
Goals for this Blog
First, I want to document my aspirations with affiliate marketing so that I am constantly reminded about where I want to be.
Second, I hope to help other newbies by publishing some of the things I have learned along the way.
Finally, I have made it through the initial learning stages of building internet income on my own. It has been relatively lonely journey, so I am hoping to use this blog as networking resource to meet others with similar interests.
My Personal Goal: Earn $200 Per Day through Internet Marketing
I think the objective of this one is pretty obvious, but here are some related issues that you may want to know…
-The goal will be measured in net revenue. Thus, if I made $1000 in a month but spent $999 on advertising, then I would only net $1 for that period.
-The goal will be measured on average net sales per day over a one month period.
-I have no programming experience. I use a combination of blogs and HTML software to produce my websites. Over time I have learned to hack at some simple code and hosting applications, but basically I consider myself a writer and marketer - not a programmer.
-I do not currently use pay-per-click advertising for my websites. I have experimented with it, but I have decided to focus on other traffic generating methods for now. I personally believe SEO is the best long-term option, and so that is what I aim for.
-As of today, I have about five sites live (not including this one). Of those, one accounts for 75% of my income. Part of my future plan is to retrace the things I did right with this particular site and create a system that can be duplicated for future sites. This is how I hope to build my income up to $200 per day.
Personal Goals for Life
This blog isn’t about proving anything to anyone. My internet marketing ambitions are directly tied into the future goals I have for me and my family. Here are some of the things I hope to achieve down the line.
-Work full-time doing my own internet marketing or secure a job related to it.
-Improve the standard of living for my family - I really want a new house!
-Gain enough knowledge about eCommerce to build my own product or business.
So these are my goals – the pressure is officially on! Obviously you will have the opportunity to witness whether or not I am successful. Hopefully I will inspire others to join me along the way as it is always easier to learn together.
