Who are you?
My name is Geoff and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I work full-time outside of the internet industry and spend my free time trying to build my online empire.
How did you get started in AM?
My journey into AM started with buying domain names for resale in August 2006. In fact, this blog was originally created as a diary of my experiences in domaining. After a while though I became frustrated with the lack of success I had selling the names. I wanted to build a more consistent revenue stream, so I began looking elsewhere.
I will talk about my growth in AM throughout this blog, but here is the short version. I started with domain names, then I tried adsense sites, and then I experimented with affiliate offers. Through lots of hard work and a little luck, I began to generate some meager (but consistent) revenue starting in April 2007. This success really lit a fire under me, and now I determined to get to the next level.
So what is this blog about?
Megadomainia is my blog about trying to reach a full-time income level through affiliate marketing.
I let this blog rot since I officially quit domaining in February 2007. Although I wrote a few posts about my transition into AM, I never closed the site for good. Now I have decided to re-launch it to document the new goals that I have. I have gained so much experience since February, and I think I have some valuable insights to share with other rookie affiliates.
What is up with the name Megadomainia?
I don’t know…I just like it. It is a spin on the word Megalomania.

Isn’t that what affiliate marketing and blogging is all about? To present yourself as bigger, better, and richer than you really are?
